The Role:

The aim of the role is primarily to advise LKQ Euro Car Parts customers before fitting a Powertrain Unit, to offer advice on known specific fitment requirements for the type of engine / gearbox being fitted with the aim of reducing warranty claims caused by installer error or oversight which then lead to rejected claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• To call customers on the day they receive their Powertrain unit, prepared with known specific installation notes and techniques
• Guide the customer through the installation process ensuring they feel supported throughout
• Be the trusted advisor on Powertrain installation to our valued customers
• Explore opportunities for upselling other equipment to the customer

Skills and Experience:

• Experience handling customer calls within a sales setting
• A basic understanding of the role the engine and gearbox play in producing the power through the vehicle transmission to drive a car
• A basic understanding of the key internal components of a modern engine
