The Successful candidate will play an important role in the strategic success of their branches and will have the full support of the Euro Car Parts and LKQ Global network in achieving this. Euro Car Parts has grown to be much more than just a car parts company; we are now far greater than that. Vales Sales Development for a multinational retail car accessories vendor, this role is in based in the East and South of Ireland. Applicants should have a keen interest in sales and experience previous working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must have a professional appearance and a clean full driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calling on forecourts, convenience stores, hardware stores and supermarkets in the allocated region
  • Servicing an established customer base of National Accounts on a fixed call schedule
  • Replenishing shelf stock
  • Introducing new product lines
  • Merchandising as per required standard
  • Implementing national promotions
  • Maintaining and developing the overall business with existing customers and prospecting new business within the territory
  • This role also requires the successful candidate to maintain and replenish the van’s stock profile

Person Specification:

  • Be ambitious and highly motivated
  • Be an energetic salesperson with excellent sales and business development skills
  • Have experience of managing sales and merchandising for established retail outlets and franchises
  • Experience in the fmcg sector is essential
  • Have the ability to consistently deliver results
  • Provide an excellent level of service to customers
  • Develop and manage new business opportunities within the market
  • Target driven individual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to thrive in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role and or the car industry is highly desirable

Key Stakeholders

The role is based within the National Accounts team, a team which serves Ireland’s largest retailers nationwide. This team reports regularly to the National Accounts Manager.
