LKQ Euro Car Parts has added an innovative new disinfectant to its growing range of PPE and hygiene products, designed to neutralise coronavirus, both in vehicles and around the workshop.
The ‘CV1 Shot’ has been developed in line with the latest guidelines from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
Benzalkonium chloride is the active ingredient that breaks down and kills coronavirus.
The product is an aerosol and can be distributed throughout a vehicle via its ventilation system, without leaving any residue behind.
The canister takes two minutes to discharge and then as little as five minutes to circulate, when the vents are open on full, and the vehicle in re-circulating mode.Colin Cottrell, marketing and central operations director at LKQ Euro Car Parts, commented: “Garages can offer a CV1 Shot treatment to customers before they hand the car back, to reassure them that it’s been fully neutralised with a top-quality product. Using an aerosol means the active ingredient is spread across all surfaces, including those that are difficult to reach.
“The CV1 Shot is also a time and cost-friendly solution to use throughout the garage premises, in reception, in the toilets and in the office.”Back
