General Manager

The day starts bright and early at around 7.30am, to ensure the branch is ready for the start of the trading day at 8am.

Leading from the front a GM holds the daily morning meeting to inform and empower their team, and also to motivate them to hit the daily targets ahead.

A GM will look to maintain the highest trade and retail standards, develop talent and maximise our profits at every given opportunity throughout the day, every day! This would include visiting top spending trade customers and local national accounts, as well as making sure that the Branch and Sales Manager are keeping a tight ship back in branch to manage customer expectations. The customer is king, and time is money!

At the end of the trading day the GM will sit down with the team and review the day's numbers, and discuss customers or issues to focus on the next day.

  • Average of 50 hours per week Monday to Friday from 8am - 6pm and alternate Saturdays from 8am - 4pm
