LKQ Coatings Bugle finds a sub-stockist as it relocated to Saltash

11 March 2016

Vehicle paint, panels and parts supplier LKQ Coatings has signed a sub-stockist agreement with John Roberts of Indian Queens, Cornwall. It follows the opening of the joint Euro Car Parts and LKQ Collision Centre hub at Saltash, in August 2015, and the more recent relocation of LKQ Coating’s Bugle store.

John Roberts said: “This agreement with LKQ Coatings is an important step in the expansion of John Roberts Paint & Consumables and local repairers are relieved that there is still a counter service on this side of the county. My other business, John Roberts Bodyworks, carries out re-sprays on everything from cars and bikes to large vans and trucks, so that technical expertise helps us deliver a better service to other repairers. Our ability to mix small tins of HMG paint on-site is proving to be a big hit with non-trade customers like farmers looking for a colour-match to touch-up scratches on their tractors and Land Rovers.”

Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, Chairman of Euro Car Parts, said: “This deal with John Roberts is great news for garages, collision repair centres and classic car specialists across mid-Cornwall. Trade customers who previously used the Bugle store will find the new coatings counter at John Roberts provides an exceptional service: local experts offering the UK’s widest range of automotive paints, coatings, solvents and ancillary products. The 33,000 sq. ft. Saltash hub, with over 47,000 lines always in stock, has significantly improved our service levels across Devon and Cornwall, most importantly in terms of both parts availability and same-day delivery times.”
