January

Roll out of super hubs announced

ECP is committing capital to develop a network of Super Hubs throughout the UK in 2015. The move will create over 1,000 new jobs, build in excess of 1 million square feet of new warehousing and achieve 100 per cent availability of an expanded choice of stock to customers by increasing the frequency of and speeding up delivery schedules to workshops by local hubs and branches.

LKQ Coatings, a division of ECP have announced a roll out of 23 Collision Centres across the UK in 2015

Specialist collision sales experts trained to offer knowledgeable advice across all the products and services available, and discuss value added business programmes to help repairers make business improvements will be employeed across all sites.”LKQ Coatings, a division of Euro Car Parts have today announced a roll out of 23 Collision Centres across the UK in 2015

The Collision Centres will be committed to offering body repair customers a single dedicated point of purchase for a wide range of paints, consumables, panels, cooling, garage equipment, quality approved collision parts as well as mechanical parts, supported by rapid delivery schedules including a guaranteed next working day service. This investment will enable repairers to reduce key to key times, control costs effectively and maximise profitability.

Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, chairman of Euro Car Parts, says, “We are totally committed to continue our investment drive across the business and the Collision Centres are the next stage of this development. They will give our bodyshop customers confidence that they can rapidly source any collision product, whether that’s paint, dry goods, equipment or panels as well as mechanical parts from one single point of contact.

March

Woolwich becomes branch number 189 in the network. 

Over the past few months we have refurbished, re-located  branches in Cambridge, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and opened branches in Widnes and Woolwich.

Shell award ECP

ECP have been awarded the 'Shell Helix Champion Reward' in recognition of its phenomenal growth in sales over the past three years of Shell Helix Ultra motor oil.

The award also recognises ECP's role as a strong ambassador of the Shell Helix brand, one of Shell's flagship products.

April

ECP sponsors Milwaukee Yamaha

Euro Car Parts has announced it's a major sponsor of the Milwaukee Yamaha 2015 British Superbike Team competing in 26 races at 12 events taking place between April and October including Brands Hatch, Donington and Silverstone.

June

A new specialist collision centre opens in Glasgow.

The dedicated centre introduces a team of highly experienced collision experts that will provide bodyshops in Scotland with an improved, fast turnaround service supported with expert product knowledge on a wide range of collision repair products including OE equivalent panels and lighting, enabling customers to run their businesses efficiently and profitably.

An improved specialist collison centre opens to serve customers in Kent & South East London

ECP has made vast improvements to it's collison specialist centre in East London. Our customers will benefit from an improved service on our wide range of collison repair products. Bringing together the best of the best, all under one roof; we are introducing a team of collison specialists to provide expert product information and service on panels, lighting and all the parts needed to provide a fast and efficient collision repair service.

July

Euro Car Parts invests over half a million pounds in a major technical training programme that will deliver around 300 events by the end of 2015 involving 225 nationwide branch locations. The company anticipates the initiative will attract in excess of 300 technical representatives from workshops and bodyshops across the UK, enabling them to stay abreast of new developments, keep their skills up-to-date and maximise potential new business opportunities.

August

A new generation automotive hub opens.

The new hub has been opened in Saltash creating around 50 new jobs and improving product availability and speed of deliveries to local service, repair & MOT workshops in the South West.

This major investment in the modern 33,000 sq ft site, built across two floors, will increase the number of product stock items to 47,000 lines of all the major OEM and high quality OE equivalent aftermarket brands.

September

ECP branches out in Halifax securing jobs and improving product availability to garages.

This major investment in the new 12,000 square foot branch brings the total number of ECP branches to over 190.  It will house over 13,000 product lines and will be supported by six delivery vans making around 250 drops a day to garages in the Halifax area as well as Brighouse and up to the borders of Bradford and Huddersfield.

Corteco top mounts now in stock at Euro Car Parts!

The initial Euro Car Parts range consists of 290 parts covering all popular passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Every Corteco part is designed to the highest quality standards and manufactured using the latest technologies

Autologic now exclusively available at ECP

An exclusive deal has been agreed with Autologic, a world leader in automotive diagnosis, to add Autologic Assist to ECP's Workshop Solutions portfolio.

Autologic Assist is the UK’s first fully integrated system delivering OEM-like diagnostics with third-party data and industry-standard Pass Through capabilities. 

The Assist Plus hardware consists of a touch sensitive display unit (including handle) with 26-pin D-sub OBDII connectivity and a Pass Through J2534 dongle. It features OEM-level diagnostic applications, a job management system, and the ability to connect to live technical support.

New branch opens in Acton

A new branch in Acton, NW10, has opened, employing 30 new members of staff to strengthen it's delivery service across west London.

This branch will provide an estimated 550 deliveries per day to garages and workshops within a 3-4 miles radius, using seven delivery vans and 12 agency bikes.

Our Hull branch relocates to a 15,000 sq ft unit on a 10 year lease.

Hidira Glow Plugs

We now stock a new range of aftermarket glow plugs by European original equipment (OE) manufacturer, Hidria, who expect to be Europe’s number one OE glow plug manufacturer, and one of the top three premium aftermarket brands, by 2020.

ECP's 200th branch opens in Manchester (Moss Lane)

Manchester (Moss Lane) is one of ECP's new generation hubs. The new style retail counter – with 29 bays – will ensure a speedy service for ECP’s trade customers.

New supplier welcomed at Euro Car Parts

Brembo, global leader in braking systems, are supplying brake disc, pads & fluid from January. Every ECP branch will stock these Brembo products with full vehicle parc coverage. We strongly believe there is a growing demand for premium quality in the UK aftermarket and we’re planning some exciting promotions to demonstrate that it is cost-effective to fit Brembo for a significant percentage of applications.
